These picks are molded from a discontinued high-grade acetal copolymer called Lupital. Lupital is one of the strongest engineering plastics available and is known for its high strength, high impact resistance, and toughness. It creates a warm tone and smooth string release. Experimental material. Warm tone.  This experimental version of the Wedge is molded in 60D TPE, a medium flexible resin that produces a warm, rounded tone and a comfortable feel against the strings. We tested it as a possible material for future production. Although we liked its tone and medium flex, it did not meet our standards for long-term wear and durability. These picks will wear faster than our regular production picks, particularly with aggressive playing. They’re still genuinely playable picks—and we’d rather put them in players’ hands than throw them away. Once the remaining supply is gone, this version will not return.
